These filters are specifically made for use with Watts Premier RO-TFM-5SV (500016, 500032), WP-5 (500023), and WP5-50 (500057) Reverse Osmosis Systems.
**HIGHLY EFFECTIVE FILTRATION:** This kit features one 5-Micron Sediment Filter (WP104017) to minimize dirt, silt, and rust that can affect your water's taste and clarity; two 5-Micron Activated Carbon Pre-Filters (WP101009) to improve water quality and eliminate chlorine tastes and odors; and a standard filter wrench for easy opening of the filter housings.
**FINAL FILTER:** Included is one 10" GAC (Granular Activated Carbon) Inline Post-Filter (WP560010), which effectively eliminates chemical contaminants that produce undesirable smells or flavors in water, like hydrogen sulfide (rotten eggs smell) or chlorine; however, it does not remove minerals, salts, or dissolved inorganic compounds. The filter features 1/4" FNTP connections, but a compression tee is not part of the package.
**QUALITY CONSTRUCTION:** These resilient filters are made from premium materials to ensure optimal filtration. The lifespan of the filters can vary based on local water quality and usage, but it is recommended to replace the sediment and carbon pre-filters every six months, with the GAC post-filter needing replacement annually.
